The only books I have physical copies of are for ttrpgs. And even then I have a digital copy.
Most Blu-ray’s now come with digital files. You can upload these to a server like Plex (this requires you to setup a Plex server which I don’t expect the average consumer to be capable of, but uploading it to a MacBook or whatever is basically enough) to digitise your collection. Now you still own the physical media, and have a digital version of it as well.
And this is completely legal.
You could also skip the buying the physical Blu-ray part. But that is less than legal (but you’re unlikely to get caught… just saying, yar har)

I also hate any religion that states unequivocally in their holy book that certain classes of people are less than others… which is a core tenet of Islamic and Christian beliefs.

I personally criticise all religions in which the deity is purported to be omnipotent and omnibenevolent. Because those two things are directly opposed to each other for a deity in our world.

Could you maybe go over the process for how you got Italian citizenship? Trying to go through the process now with my fiancée and it’s… a lot (neither of us speaks Italian either).
Specifically, how did you go about requesting documents from Italy? How did you know which civil registry to request from? What if I can’t find the civil registry for the state her descendant is from?

The drag story hour thing (and pretty much all other culture wars) are designed to keep people outraged at the people trying to fix the country so that the few at the top can continue to other the one’s trying to fix the problems. Cause enough outrage to your political rivals trying to end your honey pot. Keeps the ones who fall for it from seeing past the curtain and the ones you target from being trusted/gaining momentum.

But also: nobody in the world actually likes the idea of absolutist free speech. The founding fathers certainly didn’t believe in such an idea.
They can say what they want without restraint or restriction. They are not free from the consequences of their words.
They can say what they like. We can ban them if we don’t like it. That’s how free speech works in a consequentialist society (modern Western society is a synthesis of consequentialism and contractualism).
This is free speech. They get to say what they please. They are not free from the consequences of those words however. I, as a private citizen and not a governmental actor, can censor them.
