That’s big fucking talk from a country that couldn’t hold-on to half a Vietnam.
Evolutionary, what advantage could this possibly hold?
Cheers. It was an odd one to figure out. At first I believed it was just the ports, then I believed it was just the switches. I couldn’t find anything wrong with the stems. Lubing didn’t change anything.
Furthermore, one naturally assumes it’s something wrong with the North end, with the stem feet and the contact. 99% of the time, there’s no need to even look at the South end.
Oh, I know. I adore Haskell.
Mate, I came on here to post Haskell as a semi-ironic ‘joke’ and it’s included in the top comment. You’ve made my day.
Much harder than I had to with the Cherry switches. I’ve been experimenting with applying pressure outside of the PCB and cannot replicate the issue. It’s only when the switches are inserted.
However, after some experimentation last night, I did realize this is indeed an individual switch issue. The problem is that they work perfectly fine until they’re fully inserted into the PCB. Then they got choked. I’ve identified a couple of problematic switches and re-assembled them but the issue is still there.
I’ll try and remember to share some media later. I like your idea of installing without the top housing. I’ll try that later. Thanks for commenting.
I’m unsure what these are, sorry.
Looks like this is a QC issue on my end too. Might switch to Cherry MX Ergo Clears.
I’m delighted to hear that I’m not alone 😅
My apologies. I can’t say I’ve done this a lot, as I’ve always been concerned this was the case. I’ve made the necessary adjustments.
Thanks :)
Hi, I’ve installed KISS after reading this comment and there’s one thing I don’t understand. Is one supposed to manually select their ‘Favourites’ or are they populated by KISS with use? I couldn’t find an answer to this anywhere else.
I’m fairly sure it was Scientific Linux because that was the distro used in the labs of my first programming course.
Some of us aren’t as husky as we would like to be; others are trying to be less husky. Presumably some of us are happy with ourselves, though I’m yet to meet them 😅
Jokes aside, we are all lovely people who just want to sit you down, make you a cup of tea, and convince you that good code does nothing and object-oriented programming is evil 😉
Haskellers for Haskell.
On a related note, how did anyone ever learn to get good at Goldeneye? I played it for the first time with a mock N64 controller the other day and holy hell, it was scuffed.
