Works with any openai compatible endpoint, I use local ollama on an m2 mac mini (I still need to move things over to llama.cpp fully on there). It can also do audio transcriptions for a video, though I only use it for images (usually a screenshot of something my wife got sent by a friend that came from instagram or whatever).

Meta in the context of a post is an “about the community” post. They are using the word “meta”, not the terrible company “Meta”.

That is an absolutely wild take IMO.
Posts removed had nothing to do with homelab efforts, and included issues with self hosting. So unless you are defining a homelab as “Anything that isnt the software itself being discussed”, which would be a really odd definition for a homelab, then no.
That may have been their intention, but it doesn’t reflect the moderation at all.

While I’m glad this community is more welcoming now, we should avoid threads targeting individuals and focus on the positives going forward.
So I’d appreciate it if you deleted this thread, and if you instead wanted to post one about feeling more welcome now, that would be great!
Edit: and for the record, they weren’t removed. After criticism about the situation they made me a mod and left.

They were the moderator of this community, so that wouldn’t really help.

I mostly use it to track (and tweak) recipes that are safe for me with my food allergies, and from that perspective its great. Despite having all kinds of options to OCR recipes, import them, whatever, my wife just… hasn’t bothered.
So I haven’t really used the meal planner yet, I need to get her using it more often :)

Visible here - thanks!

@somegeek@programming.dev please add [AIP] to the title, and reference the example here for how to format the disclosure
Thanks!

I’m doing some training stuff for work thats eating up my week, but I’ll help work through that with you later on if you’d like
The wiki itself is a slightly different bit, its the repo with .wiki at the end and it is its own thing (one of the oddities of codeberg wiki I mentioned)
You can also comment here or send me a message, or write it in your fork and let me know, whichever works. I don’t believe there is anything that I’d consider “uninteresting input” fwiw :)

Great idea! Putting it on the list, hopefully doing this update to the bar this weekend (I’ve got a few days of yet-another-cert training left still)

Yeah, you can also just make a PR
I’ll be able to get on there a little later today, doing a cert class today and tomorrow

Just go ahead and let me know what’s in the too advanced territory, and I’ll be happy to rework it
Edit: For the record, this is how we make it better and more accessible, which is the goal

Pfft I’d spin up a wiki before I’d do that!

So I’m going to suggest something slightly different - put it on both github and codeberg, then note that its synced from your local repo as a mirror and link it in a readme.
Gives you a few things
As for the server itself I’d say forgejo personally.
I did the towels on Saturday, sheets on Sunday, and my clothes last Tuesday!
They are still in the basket. Clean. But in the basket.

Doing what I can!
I’m still behind on responding to a few folks who have made offers to help, in the pipeline but we’ve had other… fun events (plus personal responsibilities eating up my time) which have gotten in the way of progress here and there.
And for the record, I consider myself maintenance crew!

Why would you?
The important part is your VMs and LXCs. Your Proxmox server, at most, requires configuration for specific needs (GPU passthrough for example). The only thing you need for that would be notes on configuration (unless you have this automated, in which case you don’t generally need that, just the notes in your scripts).
So a more important question, to me, is why do you want to back it up in the first place?

Part of the point of the [AIP] tag is your ability to filter these posts out.
The decision of what you want to do is obviously yours alone, though.
Broad-market funds like the Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI) and the iShares Core S&P Total U.S. Stock Market ETF (ITOT) include SpaceX.
SpaceX was added to the Nasdaq-100, meaning funds that track it, such as the Invesco QQQ ETF, hold the stock.
Benchmarks like the Russell 1000 also hold SpaceX, automatically populating funds like the iShares Russell 1000 ETF (IWB)
