They get views on YouTube clips. That’s about it. That revenue is not really comparable.
Late night shows do not do that well in all honesty. Being 2nd behind Colbert in a dying format is not a mark of success.
Just keep in mind he has done a lot of regime propaganda for the Dems. Not someone I would watch uncritically.
Keep in mind Kimmel was a regime propagandist for the Dems, so imagine how hard the system will come down on people that are actually pursuing liberty and equality for everyone (an existential threat to both libs and conservatives). Not good.
It’s not conspiratorial to recognize someone’s vested interest. I know internet people love sucking these guys’ nuts, but they’re just rich dudes looking out for themselves at the end of the day. Not gonna just blindly take their word for it. If that’s a conspiracy to you, you seriously need to grow up.
An ideology that is pro-capitalism cannot be a stepping stone toward socialism. That doesn’t make any sense, and Liberals have literally opposed socialism at every step. Please read theory. This has already been debated and settled a long time ago. Socialism is only achieved by a violent overthrow of the ruling class. A class that liberalism is designed to protect.
