Was writing code the bottleneck before? Or was it planning, alignment, learning, iteration, testing, etc?

TBH its not the users fault, the documentation is always like (click here for docker install instructions, or if you don’t want docker click here for bare metal instructions) and the latter is just apt get and some config edits.
You forgetting the pandemic?

I guess the argument is “if the AI mixes enough copied art together so that you can’t tell as easily, it’s being creative like a human” and I just don’t really believe that. Perhaps its a philosophical question.

i might try various other distros for my desktop usage. But for my home server it will always be Debian. Rock solid.

Examples like this (first one I found just now):

Totally disagree. I’ve seen original sources reproduced that show exactly what an AI copied to make images.
And humans can definitely create things that have never been seen before. An AI could never have invented general relativity having only been trained on Newtonian physics. But Einstein did.

I dunno but if you start one I’ll join

It works for me. Maybe restart the app

This line of thinking is a real misunderstanding of creativity. “Humans are only remixing things they’ve learned, so AI is the same”. It’s not the same. If an AI has nothing but images of apples in its training data, it will never ever be able to draw a banana. It seems creative and smart on the surface only because its trained on the (stolen) input of every bit of art, text, and code on the internet. But if humans stop creating new imaginative input, it will stagnate right where it is.

A lot of extra resources, development, and cost to put a second camera on the back

I stand corrected
EDIT: Nope, it was CGI.
For the opening scene, 11-year-old Luke Kokotek served as the body double for Noah Schnapp, who plays Will.
Deadline reported that the services of Weta FX were used to de-age Schnapp, following which his face was composited onto Kokotek.

I get it. Season 1 was a cool nostalgic 80s hit. The following seasons had some fun, and good characters. But as I started watching Season 5 I really struggled to care - its the same story again, except the novelty is wearing off and the kids aren’t as cute anymore. The fact that the whole opening scene was AI-generated Will Byers really turned me off. I havent finished it, maybe I will, but I don’t feel very motivated.
Comicjoke aside, none of these are needed - as soon as the alien called the pile of 4 rocks “10” we could deduce his base.
Encarta was the peak of civilization. It’s all been downhill since we left it behind.
