I once went to a ramen restaurant that had broth so umami that the back of my neck hurt afterwards and I was drowsy. Sodium overload basically. It was so good though. Never experienced that again on the countless other ramen restaurants I’ve been to.

I don’t usually have nightmares right after watching a horror movie but this one spent a couple of nights in my dreams. And it’s not even the demon/monster in the movie. It’s the dread of something relentlessly chasing you and it’s always there no matter what you do. Then combine that with the mechanics of not being able to run fast in dreams, and viola, nightmare.

I almost forgot to put on a proper shirt one time (I was wearing a tank top) and realized as soon as I turned on my camera. Fortunately I was able to duck quickly and turn it off.

I once had a conversation with a dude in the waiting room at the doctor’s clinic. He said he purposely delayed in-person interviews for up to an hour sometimes so he can “judge” how the applicant reacts and show their dedication to getting the job. I pretty much stopped engaging after he said that. Fortunately I was called up shortly.

Watching Alien: Earth ep 4 tonight. I agree with the other comments in that I’m still not liking it. It’s not terrible, but it’s pretty mid and I don’t really care for any of the characters at this point.
