Life is cheap it seems.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
The week-long trial heard how Mr Clarke was surrounded by a group of three teenagers after he allegedly challenged them over messing around on an escalator in the Derbion centre in Eagle Market, Derby.
Officers were called to reports of an assault at the bus station and Moumeche, from James Close, Derby, and two 13-year-old boys were arrested.
Detective Inspector Mark Shaw, who led Derbyshire Constabulary’s investigation, said: "The tragic events of that day have had a devastating effect on both the families of Mr Clarke and of the defendant himself.
The senior officer added: "I hope that this case will demonstrate how important it is to stop and take a moment before resolving any matters and avoid resorting to the level of violence and the consequences seen here.
“I would like to express my thanks to the family of Mr Clarke for the dignity shown throughout the entire criminal process and hope they can look to move forward and now focus on their fond memories of Dennis.”
Andrew Baxter, from the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "Dennis Clarke’s tragic death was the result of this young person’s intimidating and aggressive behaviour, refusing to back down and not knowing when to walk away.
The original article contains 452 words, the summary contains 202 words. Saved 55%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!
Details about the attacker and his homelife/etc are not forthcoming, but one presumes that he wasn’t actually a fully murderous idiot and instead was egged on by hormones and peer pressure. It is unfortunate that what is normally annoying behavior lead to someone’s death. With luck, though, a very large life lesson has be en learned here and this teen will go on to live a productive life.
He was the oldest of the three attackers by a few years.
I don’t see any remorse in those fetal alcohol syndrome eyes.
Phrenology-ass comment
🤣
Yep. Classic fas
Normal for Derby.
Only place I’ve seen somebody in the job centre in their dressing gown.
Visit many job centres do you?
😉
PS. I suspect Harlow could field a candidate.
