Archive.today apparently hijacks visitor’s browsers to DDoS a blog that tried to uncover the identity of the archive’s admin. UBlock helps to stop that script.

The tweet is wrong, yes, but there are dozens of articles coming out in the past 3 days that correctly date the killing.

The only thing this quoted law stipulates is that you provide any updates, if you released them, for at least 5 years after the phone stopped selling. So this law is completely pointless.

It is a regulatory loophole. Read the quoted law in the article. No updates have to be provided.

Lawnchair isn’t a one-to-one replacement unfortunately. I customized my Nova Launcher pretty heavily, I guess I’ll have to just not download any more updates. I hope the update this week was just bug fixes, as the patch notes implied, otherwise I’ll have to find an APK of the last version.
