    I enjoyed the 1st season, couldn’t finish the 2nd and didn’t even realise there was a 3rd and 4th.

Exactly. This would have been excellent as a limited series, but I assume it was profitable so it outlived its premise.

I mean the ending of each season clearly set up the story for the next. Perhaps you could argue that it shouldn’t have, but it’s clear the writers had a plan.

incidentally, why are there so many fucking tv shows about podcast detectives. i swear last year i started watching 3 or 4 shows that seemed promising and as soon as they got into the podcast nonsense i had to turn it off.

I love the cast but I might be done with this show.

I barely remember any of the last season. None of the twists or turns have any impact.

It’s about one per year, but you’ve also got to realize it’s a pretty low budget show compared to most TV series, so the turn around time is just limited by the writing.

Im a huge fan and excited for season 4.

Season one was a fantastic opening, season two was a bit less exciting but still great, but I feel like season 3 recaptured my excitement.

Also Steve Martin & Martin Short, while the whole cast is fantastic our lead “heroes” are always worth my time.
