If these people knew anything about history they’d know about President Hoover raising tariffs, which prompted every country we traded with to do the same, making everything more expensive and worsening the Great Depression. And yeah, I suspect that there will be a crash in the next 12-18 months. The economy is fragile but recovering and he’s looking to do massive changes that aren’t well received by experts. He will probably drive us into a depression.
