No. the reason unions exist is to

• Force Companies to Protect their workers well being and provide better working conditions
• Force Companies to share the profit of the company with the employee’s

Unfortunately a side effect is that unions also protect the stupid/incompetent/lazy to the detriment of the company AND union.
