- Hours after the US airstrike on Iranian territory, Iranian-backed hackers took down US President Donald Trump’s social media platform.
- Users were struggling to access Truth Social in the early morning following the alleged hack.
- As the US continues to insert itself into the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, the US government believes more cyberattacks could happen.

Honestly shocked that it took this long to take down, they’re running an ancient, insecure version of Mastodon. Plus, they don’t have the durability of being federated.
Time between airstrike and decision to hack the site: hours.
Time between beginning the hack and the site going down: minutes or seconds.
(At least that’s my guess, anyway.)
Chances are every nation in the world has already probed Truth Social for vulnerabilities, and they’ve got their tools ready to take it down should that be required.
I hope they take it down for good
Would be great if they could do Twitter next.
