I just redid a network closet that the previous tenants left just like that. Had to pull all new cables, because all but one of them were unrated CAT with no insulation (the rated CAT was CAT4…). While unlikely, I’m not risking a CAT wall fire by pushing PoE through, what seems to me to be, M2M cables used as Ethernet cables.
They hunger for connections!
Nice cabling, though.
