    I mean… cool idea and all that, but these recipes are gonna be completely pedestrian and from the time cooking/baking science was not well-understood. Also back in the day, common ingredients were hard to get or simply unavailable. I’ll pass on this book.

      Hahaha what? The pictures on the article show graves for folks who died in like, the 2000’s, not the 1700’s.

          Do you seriously think that people who died in the 2000’s were using the same recipes, adjustment free, from the 30’s-50’s? Maybe you can explicitly quote where in the article it even said remotely akin to that asinine assumption? Oh, you can’t? Of course not.
