The real issue here is Americans and many westerners have been binge eating disgusting processed junk since very early childhood.

Permanently damaging or even destroying their biological mechanisms for feeling full

This leads to a weird obsession with other cultures that contain knowledge and practices for eating in a particular manner

They are quite literally missing an upbringing where their culture and parents taught them to stop eating

Don’t call someone an insult when they were just having a polite topical discussion

Not a he and you are the rude one

These are serious problems majorly affecting society. I doubt you would consider it polite if I posted research on childhood obesity and satiety or how this article directly relates to and reinforces new eating disorders

Only 1/3 of America is a healthy weight

1/3 is overweight 1/3 is obese

This is a manufactured problem stemming from unregulated foods and a profit driven free market.

I have personally seen way too many family and friends deliberately over-feed their children and sentence them to lifelong weight issues.

This problem will likely only be solved through medications because the food industry has completely won
