I don’t think Steven Moffat could write a series with the nuance that Aaron Sorkin can. He barely kept Sherlock and Doctor Who on a cohesive narrative. Just watching the past four episodes of Doctor Who under the guidance of Davies as showrunner again proved much of that.
I absolutely love this video essay, btw. I have yet to watch all of his plagiarism essay though…I’m only about an hour into it at this point.
