You’re not wrong in how I see things, but how I see things isn’t necessarily wrong, either. those political systems may mostly be working okay at the moment (depending upon your definition of “okay”), but you can be assured that those assholes are always looking for ways to manipulate things to their advantage. Much like the USA, they will work as long and as subtly as it takes to get control in the end. Too many people are sheep, and thus won’t see it coming until it’s too late. History has documented innumerable examples of this.
