Idiocracy just assumes everyone smart died off and we’re only left with idiots who don’t know how to do anything. The majority of the people in the world of Idiocracy are, at worst, neutral.

That is not this world, there are far too many intelligent (and otherwise) malevolents acting against the best interest of the whole and for their own exclusive best interest.
