GDR however always recognized nazi crimes and holocaust but they rejected framework of inherited german guilt claiming that they were a new socialist, anti fascist state that had already broken with nazism. East German leaders claimed the real heirs of Nazism were capitalist elites and former Nazis allegedly integrated into West German society.

They interpreted nazism mainly through anti-fascism and class struggle often downplaying the Holocaust’s specifically Jewish dimension compared with later West German and contemporary Holocaust memory.

Not to forget they were vocal anti zionist (especially after 1967) which changed after german unification.

            No,

In 1880 Palestinian farmers protest as they are getting displaced after the lands they previously leased where bought out by independent Jewish groups.

In 1897 Zionism crystalized as a political movement which in 1901 created the national jewish fund explicitly for the purchase of land in “Israel”.

Zionism is fascist and Israel is its vessel. But some jewish families have lived their since ~1880, being born there and not having been able to leave does not make them fascist.

there is clear divide in american electoral politics but most americans support american hegemony. Similarly many israelis may oppose bibi but most of them support existence of israeli state which in itself is a settler colony apartheid state.

Living anywhere else in the world as an openly visible Jew is a bit dangerous right now.
Unfortunately, the actions of the state of Israel cause violence and hate against Jews not living in Israel.
