      It’s perhaps a little different than an american shooting a school.
      In one, you’ve got lots of victims, too many for one person to remember, but only one name for the killer, so it’s more likely to stick.
      In this case, I think people are going to remember the one victim. Similar to James Bulger.

      Edit: As a footnote, I had a read through the James Bulger wikipedia page after I wrote, and I really wish I hadn’t.

      Exactly. These things should not have been named or their faces publicised. They should not get attention.

        I disagree. I doubt you or I or anyone else will remember their names. If the judge hadn’t named them, however, the British (social and perhaps tabloid) media would have become obsessed with discovering their identities.
