Tommy kind of pivoted to a self deprecating humor when the cult Room fandom found a foothold. I think he’s probably happy with his legacy no matter what it is. Just based on how he tried his hand at being a yt streamer and showed up to the Trainwreck when it premiered.
As an aside, does anybody remember seeing ads for some show with him on Nexusmods back in the early 2010’s? His face was just like all over that site with a kind of funny frequency.
