It beeps when it’s done.

It beeps when you press the button.

It beeps when you place it on the base.

But today, it beeps no more.

I classify this as a repair.

Interesting. I’ve been microwaving water for 4 decades and never had water explode anything. Also when I actually do have tea, I put the mug in with water in it, microwave it, then drop the tea bag in. Works fine. When I used to drink loose leaf tea I would microwave the water and then pour it into my travel mug that had the holder for the loose leaf tea so it would steep in the travel mug.

I found tea was hurting my stomach years ago, though, so I stick with coffee. I’ll still have tea if I go to a restaurant and they have oolong though. Love that stuff.

I think it’s the tannins but I’m not sure. Black tea seems worse than lighter teas. But black tea is my favorite, so…

I’m sort of the same with beer, occasionally, but not my stomach. I like dark beer, but sometimes it makes my jaw hurt. I’ll get a moderately sharp pain around the joint, but light beer doesn’t seem to do it much. Some sort of mild allergy, which would make it about my only food allergy.

That’s very interesting I’ve never heard of anyone having that before. Have you searched the internet to see if there’s any similar people out there?
