    Could all YouTubers everywhere please emulate this guy’s style… no obnoxious edits, no “destroying” someone else’s point of view… he just calmly and methodically explains what he’s done and what the issues are.

          I wouldn’t think optimizing solar systems is something a child would watch, anyway. Not all YouTube content has to water itself down to try to capture the child market, the are plenty of adults using the website too.

          I do see your point though absolutely, I’m just sick of potentially interesting videos being ruined by trying to appeal to every single age demographic under the sun, haha :-P

            I think these types of solar projects are something an older child could do, at least with a little adult supervision to make sure that don’t blind or burn themselves

      The obnoxious crap gets more clicks and views. It happens because we, the audience, reinforce it.

          Yeah that’s true, but you can avoid the algorithm by sticking to your “Subscriptions” page in YouTube. Or by using NewPipe or another alternative front end.

            i use invidious nowadays and its quite good if you dont mind instances going down every once in a while
