When I was a child we didn’t have bike lanes, and biking to school was always an interesting endeavor. Thus I will always take off a bit of speed and give cyclists a good bit of space. But if there’s two or more bikes side by side, then they can take up enough road that you can’t pass them without crossing entirely into the other lane. And then they’re just a big pain as slow moving tractors and other farm equipment, except they’re even more annoying because they could just go single file.
Cyclists going side by side are inconsiderate assholes and this comes from a guy who bikes to work daily.

So I’ve found a Danish language interview on this topic, from earlier this year, so before the man in this story was arrested.

My wife’s been reading this book that references this. As well so many other cases of men assuming genders or disregarding women in science, among other things. It’s crazy. “hmm that skeleton has wide hips, but it is also buried with a sword, so it’s a man”. Female physiology traits in a man is way more plausible, than a woman being buried with a sword … wtf?!?

I’m pretty sure she means molested as in abused or misused.
On a side note, as to the molesting aspect, I can’t see how this is any different than 14yo me having a couple of VHS tapes where the boob-parts were more worn than the rest of the tape. Or going frame by frame on the Taxi 2 DVD in the scene where Petra does kung fu in a skirt. Or golden child where the mythical woman behind the curtain is revealed. Or the shower/locker room scene in robocop. Or the bath scene in coming to America. Or the playboy mansion in Beverly Hills cop 2… Anyway I digress.
If you appear naked in a movie, expect teenage boys and creepy men to jerk off to you. Not the perfect world would be, I know. In the perfect world everyone would respect that the actress was only nude as an artistic choice, and it wasn’t meant to be spank bank material.
Copyright on the other hand, I thought that was just a civil law matter. Wonder why the guy was arrested.
Edit: Oh shit, good thing that I don’t sail the seven seas, and definitely never has. 2 years ago a Danish guy got 30 days probation for doing less than some of my friends did in high school and university.
1·12 days agoI like the fairphone idea, I really do, and I realize that maintaining the fairphone ecosystem is expensive… But! 550€ on sale for a 128GB storage and 6GB RAM phone? GTFO. Update promises are great, but a small company promising 7 years? I hope that the fairphone company survives that long, and even longer, but I wouldn’t be basing my phone purchase on that promise.
For my usage I can get comparable phones for the same cost per day, but with less of an initial investment, and without the risk of time.
Depends on where your sensors are and how much dispersion the dish has. If you are flying a surveillance plane into the “beam” then you can passively spot the ship.

That’s frigging crazy as well as awesome. Last I went looking was probably like 15 or 20 years ago. And back then I didn’t learn about Harmy. Thanks for letting me know. I really believed that the laserdisc version was the only way to get rid of the crap Lucas added when he discovered Adderall and cgi in the late 90s.
As a stand up law abiding citizen I will of course refrain from seeking out these unlicensed materials ;)
5·23 days agoIt sorta depends on your physical security. If you live in a town, then sure, you can’t know who’s eavesdropping. But if you park in my yard, several hundred meters from the nearest public road, then I think we’d notice before you could do any damage.

Except, when you believe in something you sign your name to it.
I know not all Americans are morons, but too many are too complacent. A few extremely wealthy men have bought the political system and are pitting decent and democratically inclined people against a large group of purposely uneducated downtrodden people. The first group is complacent and more concerned with decency and their own standard of living, than they are in fixing the country, and the second group is seeking out ways to piss off the first group, while feigning indignation when they’re called out for it.
When I suggest revolution and eating the rich, I’m only partly kidding. Don’t eat them, feed them to pigs instead. But you seem to think that I’m trying to be funny, I mean why else omit my suggestions? I’m not kidding. You need to declaw some rich people, so you can get rid of that awful electoral system and impose term limits for all higher public offices. And if declawing the rich ends up with a few rich white men dieing, then that’s a small price to pay. The actions of the same men kills Americans all the time.
But I know that it’s not time to invest in the pitchfork and torch industries, because too large a group of people are too complacent to actually risk anything.
So we can’t make fun of the upholstery burn marks on Vance’s junk, but the freaks are carrying mock sperm to weird us out?
Dear Americans, eat your rich, have a revolution, institute term limits for all public offices, or do something else. But please: sort your shit out.
Why not just stick to what we’ve always been doing?
