I’ve been using MX for years, stable reliable Dedian distro, regardless of which kernel, KDE Plasma desktop keeps workflows clean & familiar. If I was a total newbie in 2026… I’d try ZORON… it’s impossible to goose that up and can use ubuntu store.
Welcome to the family, mint was a good choice. 👍
The guy darwined himself… And the fact that would even be up for suggestion under the circumstances make me wonder if human’s hubris has any solution besides depopulation, less we forget a tiger doesn’t even bloody belong in the UK at some pen humans dumped it in to. probably hungry AF, what they all expect!? I have a pinephone pro, seems like manjaro bricked it and I can’t flash the rom again …Any theories on what to do?
I don’t see it happening; Copilot was a failed proof of concept that crippled the Windows ecosystem and permanently tarnished Microslop’s reputation as the premier operating-system developer; the Linux community doesn’t openly embrace AI much at all, and gamers couldn’t care less about it… All the LLM services have been running at a consistent loss/debt, and CoreWeave is propped up by the only 2 companies that couldn’t even successfully launch a finished product. They need to cut their losses and pack it in; call it a day!
