Well, you can just… not install the extension then?
The strength of life to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.
Well, you can just… not install the extension then?
Yeah you wouldn’t be insulting the police over here, either. If for no other reason that should something happen that requires police presence just around the next corner you’re going, you do not want the police to automatically be siding with the other party.
So far it’s not perfect yet, but I already switched to it. Very nice.
It’s difficult to say what PP does, last I read about if? One idea was that it’s actually excludes things from server side click metrics, and in that case I would guess I can see point in leaving it there?
Are there full-size ortho keyboards?
I don’t get why, I can’t see this be difficult or costly to run, but then again I have no clue, never ran a Mastodon instance.
I would assume that it’s not worth the small reach compared to running X / Bluesky / Threads accounts but then again, like I said, the cost must be super small. 🤷
Ah, over here you buy phones separate, and foldables cost 4x++ what I’d be comfortable spending on a phone. (currently on a Fairphone, if I use it for 5 years that’s 130€/year of use, and that’s at the minimum use. Plus the contract costs me… I forgot, but very little per month.
Now we need people to buy these to make the tech even more cheap and better.
No, we need the tech to be cheaper and better for me to buy it. This isn’t my problem, the stuff is just not in a price segment where I can afford it.
Yeah because SURPRISE, not everyone is rich.
Is that noteworthy though? As in, it’s a 3D check, and most mobile games have graphics that an old TI 92 could render.
Yeah that’s true, or at least I wish I could make FF remember my settings.
Yeah I was about to say, just do https? It’s not like getting a certificate is still a big deal in modern times, hasn’t in years.
Me, it makes me a bit sad it’s so low. Reader Mode is one the really cool features of Firefox, but I understand that consuming web content by reading is rapidly on the decline, as a result of the comparatively low information density of video and audio allowing bigger ad space compared to text.
Plus we know from the last 10-15 years how much reading comprehension has nosedived since the proliferation of video content.
Got any more interesting facts about tits, cocks, boobies, peckers or shags?
Uh… what do you think we do when a client doesn’t pay us for a while? We yank their access. That’s how services work, you get a few warnings that you really need to pay or you’ll lose access and then, well, you lose access.
Well, I can’t judge it for everyone personally of course. And I don’t like AI conceptually. But fucking hell if not every single person is constantly interacting with the common chat LLMs. To the point where they actually use Edge because it has it fully integrated. So from a browser-maker perspective, I kinda get it. The users at large seem to have decided that constantly asking an LLM first is “the future”, much as that sucks.
I still don’t like it personally, but so long as it’s default-off, eh, sure. Do it for all the people who care, which frankly seem to be the overwhelming majority most days.
You don’t even have to turn it off, it’s how people always ask them to do it: It’s opt-in.
We always told them we want things to be optional, and now this is an extension so I dunno. Seems they’re listening?
