Only reason I use Brave is for my iPhone (which I am already planning to jump back to Android when it’s time for a new phone) because I can listen to YouTube videos/music in the background and no ads when going through the browser (another reason I’m going back to Android is for Revanced). Yup. Pirating is about filling a need where companies sorely lack in providing services. When a company provides a shitty service or offers no viable alternative to obtaining something I would gladly pay for, pirating bridges that gap.
It’s not so much that they’re out of touch (though they are) as it is that they just don’t give a fuck. Any way to return a profit or bump the stock price a few cents is all that matters.
So, any news regarding a tech company is not, in your eyes, “tech news”?
