What is it useful for? I actually have a hard time finding a use for it… Its alright at book recommendations, sometimes.

Are you using it for streaming various video services? If not, get a Steam Machine. Playstation pricing is severely expensive, and their selection is limited. There are so many cool things I see on Steam that I wish were on PS5 for ease of use.
Sure, but I would rather watch sports where everyone has disadvantages. Like a football team and each literal handicap adds to like a numerical handicap.
So the some of the best football teams will have quarterbacks with one arm, kickers with one legg and running backs with a half of an arm.
Imagine the betting… What are the odds that the mentally handicapped coach will have the one legged kicker go for a field goal at the 38 yard line?
Why Playstation?
Problem, seems like a solution to me.

I thought the main character was a chick, but I could be forgetting.
I actually appreciated that they put in the “intranasal” because it would have made way more sense without it.

I would guess tourism. It seems like that’s what it’s currently used for.

I wonder how much the city of LA would pay to get La.com back haha.
I am not sure how useful owning the actual precious metals would be in a societal collapse. It’s going to lose value quickly. It would take probably 5-10 years before some rich rober baron decides to make a market for it where it gets a decent trade value again. An Oz of gold is going to mean a lot less to me than box of bullets or some chickens, unless I can find someone to give me a ton of that stuff in trade before my family starves I am going to take the chickens.
Much more useful in a hyper inflation scenario.
There isnt much actually left and it becomes more and more expensive to mine.
Not that I agree with the specific numbers in this infographic (I have seen estimates between 20-40% remaining) but it illustrates my point. The right cube would be bigger, but not as big as the already mined cube on the left if you included all the gold estimates in total.

Think about this… if it were profitable most white collar workers would be riding a stationary bike with a generator, much more energy than a door opening.
A stationary bike over an 8 hour workday would produce probably ~1kWh, so like 19 cents given the US average. That wouldn’t even pay for maintenance and replacement parts for the devices.
I did two, one in the mens and one in the ladies.

Isn’t it just like free/cheap revenue now that they have no plans to make future Sims games anyway? If they really dislike it I am sure they could find a buyer for it readily.

That’s a pretty large subject, anything in particular?

Erase all federal and state government, only leave existing town boundaries and muncipal law. Every town must hold elections that year. Towns will then naturally start to work together via commerce, cultural and geographical ties and can create their own collectives/states. Or maybe they will become related and a part of Mexico or Canada and that’s fine too. Just have a rule that any town that hasn’t become part of another country must donate 5% of their tax income for a small military defense force.

Because it’s good for cohesion. If Americans feel like they are losing their identity they will be more likely to want to work with Jesusland instead of their fellow Canadians.
Weirdly I have a similar conspiracy about noise makers for children. They all tend to come with a colored light, that is super bright. While there are studies that have shown sleeping with a light when you are younger makes you 5x more likely to need corrective lenses when you are older.
So does it make sleep better?
Doesn’t DuckDuckGo offer a subscription service that monitors/blocks those requests?
