YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
I though it was Vientiane for a second. It isn’t : they don’t have tall buildings there.
Little story about Vientiane and cats: there’s a old lady that feeds the street cats twice a day, at 8 am and 5 pm. Like clockwork, about 20 cats show up 15 min before those times and just wait for her. It looks a lot like the picture, only with a lot more cats. Moral of the story: cats can precisely tell the time.
Same.
Plus these guys are kinda all assholes that seem to compensate for something? Man, if I had a nickel for every time one of those tailgates me…
Trucks are meant for work
When I see the size of them and the pristine condition they are in, I seriously doubt it’s the case for most pick up owners.
As a kid, my dad used to tell me stuff like that. He believed it too. He worked 2 jobs 6 days a week all his life to die in relative poverty.
People make wealth issues generational. It’s not. It’s a narrative to divide and conquer.
It’s the rich vs the poor. It’s always been.
How I envy you to be able to watch Archer for the first time.
I must have watched the whole thing a dozen times.
Me : shakes 6 mils in front of Lemmy
Lemmy:
Something about stones and glass houses might apply here… Or is it kettles and pots?
Not totally wrong.
I’ve lived in Asia where there’s only one rule on the road: might is right. Riding a motorcycle is dangerous to start with, but it’s literally Russian roulette in that context: you have to take all the precautions you can. I have definitely noticed that cars give more space to loud bikes.
That being said, doing an arms race to keep yourself safe (bigger cars, louder bikes, brighter lights) is really just making everything more dangerous for everyone.
That was satisfying!
