Exactly. Windows phones were great. They just needed the big apps to get on board which never happened. I feel the same way about Linux phones. I want them to be a success but I’m doubtful it will ever happen.

Of course they are.

I played an ATC game on my phone. Was pretty good at it. Can I has job?
Ok, now that’s fookin funny. You love to see it.

That starts with the Pixel 8. Anything older is still 5 years.

I have heard lots of things about how terrible the Pixel 6 is. I have had mine since launch with no issues. Maybe I just got lucky, I don’t know.

It’s pretty much the same in Canada unfortunately.

Precisely why I will buy a used Pixel and put GrapheneOS on it.

That is why I am looking at the Pixel 8. It is supported for 7 years taking it to October 2030. The Pixel 6 only had 5 years of support which ends in October of this year.

As an OG Pebble fan I was really looking forward to getting a Time 2. I am in Canada though and it’s $350 plus after exchange. I had one in my cart but just couldn’t press go.

I have a Galaxy watch 7 that I am looking to replace.
I am really hoping to move away from Google services completely but I also like having notifications on my wrist. I haven’t found a decent replacement yet.

That is why I’m considering the used Pixel 8. GrapheneOS will support the Pixel 8 through October 2030. Maybe by then this Motorola deal will bare fruit.

I don’t trust really Google anymore but I think GrapheneOS without Google services should take care of any risk.
If GrapheneOS was available for other devices I might switch but that is not the case. Maybe this Motorola deal will produce something but that’s still a ways out if it ever happens.

Keep their nails short. You can also get nail caps that glue on. Cats nails shed their outer layer so the caps will come off on their own. This will help prevent injury when they do fight.
We have an older territorial cat that stalks the younger cat we brought home a year ago. The older cat is a chonk and always gets his ass kicked but keeps coming back.
We have a litter box and water in the basement so the older cat sleeps down there some nights.
For the most part they are both in gen pop and it is slowly getting better.

Usenet still exists but there isn’t much going on these days. 99.9% of groups are completely dead but there are some that hang on. Even those have low posting numbers but not zero, so I’ll take it.

I have started going back to forums and RSS feeds when I can find them. Most of the forums though are pretty dead. I have even started using Usenet again for actual text newsgroups.
I am hoping for a bit of a resurgence as more people move away from algorithmic social media but I won’t hold my breathe on that.

Lol. That’s not sketchy at all. /s

I mark them as phishing attempts every damn time.
No sweat. I prefer to reinstall and start fresh every now and then anyway.
