Bro, you sound like a delight to be around. Judging people for what they drive is pretty shitty. Unfortunately, lots of people don’t have much of a choice. Like, sure, buying that early any Chrysler 300 seems like a real bad idea. But maybe the person who bought it got it for the $15 that it’s worth, and maybe it was all they had to their name. And maybe they needed just any car that can get them to their job or transport their kids. Get off your high horse there.
I feel like those should be reversed? Or something…?
He’s going for that apple on a stick look
Tell him ElJefe from lemmy says he’s jealous!
Them calves tho…
Nah. It’s capitalism. Pretty sure.
I really hate them. There’s something very disturbing about them.
Edit: a word
I grew up in Mexico. We had a kids songs tape, kinda like the chipmunks or something. In one song they talked about sugar being expensive, but using the analogy “sugar is high up in the clouds, and I have no airplane.” I used to think clouds were made of sugar.
At some point I started running cold water on the knife before cutting and onion, and it seems to help. Does anyone know if there’s science behind this, or am I making shit up?
Neither of those words are Spanish tho. Xoloizcuintle is a náhuatl word, and Xcaret is a mayan word.
I’m sorry, what? Can you give some examples in Spanish where the letter x makes a sh sound?
Or maybe, y’know, just don’t do stupid shit
Lol no. That’s not at all where the current state of things is. Yes, you do have localized echo chambers where people repeat their insane little opinions about whatever bullshit alex Jones or musk or Jordan Peterson or whomever says. But that represents a minimal number compared to the amount of people out there who are vastly knowledgeable and studied and experienced in the things they do. Your hyperbolic hot take is not only wrong, but is also reductive and neglects to acknowledge that there are a lot of intelligent people out there doing good things for society.
I’m right hand dominant, and I do the same as the commenter you replied to… I thought it was a common thing!
El guapo, as clearly exemplified in the picture above, means “the handsome one.”
Oh sweet, I’ll check it out. Thanks!
And this is how we have reached the state in which we currently find ourselves; an infinite loop of dumbness!
Edit: too many ins. I’m dumb.
