Never underestimate the lengths LG and Meta will go to for their spycraft.
(This is post is silly surrealist humor. I hope.)

They really don’t realize how much admiring AI is revealing their own general professional uselessness.
Edit: People who don’t regret the things AI lacks - are signaling that they don’t have it, and don’t have access to it in their professional networks. To begin with, that’s sad. But when they post publicly about it, they’re revealing that they aren’t even aware of what they’re not bringing to their teams.

1·3 days agoDoesn’t outlook support imap?
Officially, it can. Many organizations turn IMAP off “for security reasons.”
Edit: Microsoft routinely turns off features for security reasons, so this comment may age poorly, if not already.
There’s an earthquake happening due to the ride behind them rumbling by between frames.
I’m excited about the day when these shop owners learn about Furry Porn.
“I found pictures online that looked like our two shop mascots. They seem to really love each-other, Bob.”
It’ll be glorious.
But maybe they’re all already aware and are just advertising their support for the Furry community.
Please fix the tabs thing.
Nice.
This duck is the new acceptable answer, when someone asks “what is art?”.
All philosophical answers need not apply. The answer is just this picture.
Any detailed philosophical arguments about art are still allowed to continue, but those discussions must now treat this “smoking duck stuck in traffic” as their shared first axiom.

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week?
2·12 days agoI think Warframe is the only (non-open source) free to play game I have nice things to say about.
I never felt any pressure to pay, but every few months of playing and I would think, “I feel like I should chip these folks some cash, again”.
And then they do make it fun to chuck them some money.
Most of the purchasables may as well just say “trust us, it’s fun”, for all I understood any of them before buying. (I think I bought maybe 4 frames while playing for about a year.)
After playing for awhile, I do trust them. I’ve not been disappointed with any purchased frame or item - with the understanding that both are pretty much just amusing “thank you” gimmicks for supporting.
Warframe has been a good time. I sort of expect it to enshitify at any moment, but for now they seem chill.
You got my hopes up.
I don’t wish Alex anything but a long life after a hopefully complete rehabilitation of his sociopsthic habits.
But I do have a nice drink set aside for my own enjoyment on the day that I’m convinced Alex will stop harming others.
I don’t have any particularly strict rule about how I get convinced he is done hurting people. I suspect I’ll see it in the obituaries rather than an op-ed. But I’m open to either.
Alex doesn’t seem likely to fix his life, but he also looks like he doesn’t cares well for his health…so I do have that drink near the front of the cabinet.
Oh well. My nice drink can wait. Maybe I’ll open it to celebrate his reform yet. Like Alice, I try to believe six impossible things before breakfast.

12·13 days agoYes, it’s the people who put in decades of hard work, not the cocaine snorting golden parachute executives, costing US auto makers their chance to compete. That might be it.
Edit: If only there were some way for citizens united to do something to help those poor executives.
I’m glad to hear it.
I have a friend Jody reminds me of, and I appreciate that he’s still around.
