Yeah, the anxiety and paranoia thing weakened for me a year ago after I took shrooms for the first time. The strength of the social anxiety and paranoia hasn’t come back, permanently weakened I feel.

I feel like this is played out advice, but, if you don’t have a family history of schizophrenia or personal history of psychosis…shrooms are nice.
You already can I think? Ollama is something you can install, and then you can set up a webui like sillytavern for roleplays, or some other more fitting ui for whatever you want. Also, Linux is great for projects like these, on windows it’s fucking a pain to set up, Linux it’s easy.
Revanced is nice
Might help just to subtly edit your comment in a way that make any advice or content you’ve given shittier. Like if you have some sort of tech support comment, just edit it in a way so that the piece of tech support you’ve offered is some standard answer for the problem that doesn’t fix anything. And while you’re at it, move the comment which offers the fix or piece of advice to Lemmy.
I like to be optimistic, eventually such crusaders will have such tools turned against them and that will be that. Even they will begin doubting whether any nudes are real.
Still, I’m not so naive that I think it can’t turn any other way. They might just do that thing they do with abortions, that is the line of reasoning that goes: “the only acceptable abortion is my abortion”, now changed to “the only fake nudes, are my nudes”
Ehhhh, I like to think that eventually society will adapt to this. When everyone has nudes, nobody has nudes.
It’s good to feel proud of where you work. I’m not too sure on whether or not Intel treats their workers good though, do they?
Spore prints can be useful for identification too
Does volcanic glass really look like that? Perhaps it’s just glass slag from a factory.
I recommend the NRSV or the NRSVue.
I think the reason “new math” gets flack, is because it’s a new way of teaching math, and alot of teachers aren’t as good at teaching in that way yet. Still, kids should be taught that it can be a way one does calculations. Another thing I think should be incorporated into early childhood education is the use of an abacus, the Japanese do this and it supposedly helps greatly with mental math.
I think most of the hostility is in regards to shilling of certain sites and services. Local self hosted AI is not likely to get as much flack I feel. Another aspect of hate is people generating images and calling it art, which…it is but, it’s the microwave equivalent of art. Such negative sentiments can be remedied by actually doing artistic shit with whatever image they generate, like idk, put the image into Photoshop and maybe editing the image in a way that actually improves it, or using said image as a canvas to be added onto or some other shit.
Edit Addendum: also the negative perception of AI has mostly been engendered by some of its more unpleasant supporters, who think of it as a way to make “irrelevant” certain groups they don’t like, and to take some sorta sick schadenfreude in the “replacement” of these people, which they think may be a way of reducing the power of these people (politically, socially, etc), and that’s kinda fucked up.
Might help to make tutorial vids for fediverse stuff.
I think the people who get up in arms over 3d printed guns forget that most people will never develop the skills or even have the prerequisite skills to make one anyways. It isn’t like you just plug in the printer, down load a file, and you have a gun. You need to learn alot of other things to actually make something functional. Things like ECM (electro chemical machining) is often necessary and a whole host of other skills.
Sigh, it always ends up being a semantic issue because people hear “anarchist” and think “no government”. When really, the political philosophy of anarchism is a little different.
I think a good compromise is to allow for sale for a period of years, and then when it’s no longer making as much profits, for a creator to give permission for it to be ok to be pirated, which basically means that they’ve sorta kinda maybe ceded legal consequences to pirating their work.
Quick! Somebody check if they’ve lied in any of the congressional hearings about how their shit works!
Might just be that nerve cells by themselves “experience” something when stimulated, but pain perhaps requires certain structures of neurons or even parts of a brain to be interpreted as “pain”. I’m just spitballing though since I’m not a neuroscientist or anything like that.
I always trust that feeling, what’s the downside to not doing so, other than time?
