2 months agoI’ve been in IT since 1997. Back in the old times, network blocks were like free. I’ve worked for several places with full /8 public CIDRs - One employer didn’t even NAT the addresses and every PC and server on our network had a public IP address. Firewalls were in place so the IPs weren’t public in the traditional sense, but it was always fun explaining to some new hire why our IP addresses didn’t look like they expected.

I waited over two years for their Naya Create split keyboard. It finally arrived and they fucking moved the enter and backspace keys, rendering it unusable.
Could I have looked at the key layout and seen the fucky design ahead of time? Sure, but who would think they have to check on something so basic?
