When I was in Germany years ago, I was looking for a place to eat and remember seeing a place with a sign that said PIZZA! and then had a picture of a pizza crust with a MOUNTAIN (like 3 feet high) of mett on it (which, at the time I thought was raw hamburger not pork). I thought to myself “if that’s what pizza is over here, no thank you.”

This made me wonder how much heat/emissions are generated creating liquid nitrogen. 🤔

You just compress the gas to make it liquid, right? But then, I guess you’d need to provide pure nitrogen and I’m not sure what the main source of that is other than the atmosphere itself. How do you separate it?

Yeah, it’s not really satellites that are the problem. There’s so much debris in orbit from our space programs, it’s starting to form an entire layer around the planet. The risk of collision from this debris is constantly growing.

I never heard of Jimmy Saville but I did immediately associate the outfit with a cult leader seeing this image since it is kinda the stereotypical “we gonna kill ourselves and go to space” type look. Maybe it would have hit better over on this side of the pond if they dressed like Marshal Applewhite. I think he’d be more well recognized over here.
