It’s the way you said it that reveals shitty attitude towards women. You imply that all women should act in accordance to your beliefs and that they are somehow lesser for not being up to your wifey material standards. The world doesn’t need conform to you. The book store near where I grew up had a section with all these types of books. When I was young, I went out of my way to check them out because I was fascinated with ufo’s and conspiracies and wanted to buy one. I remember flipping through a few books and it was all pure word salad. I was like, how am I supposed to learn about all these cool supposed theories when they’ve all lost the ability to command the English language let alone some sort of coherent narrative thread.

I hate that these are the people I spend most my time with. I like my coworkers just fine, I’ve grabbed a beer with a few. Made unexpected friends. I just hate that I’m forced to spend most my time with a bunch of people whose collective mission is to make money for someone else, and that soneone else is the person who gets to spend a majority of their time with whoever they dam well please.

Sure, if I’m in Italy at some fancy restaurant, give me a nice menu to peruse. But most restaurants are turn and burn establishments that make money off volume and I don’t want their dirty menu when I’m trying to get cheap happy hour food after work or quick lunch take out.

All the nicer restaurants I’ve been to either have physical menus as the standard, or it’s a more “hip” place and they have them upon request.

I know we saw issues with local deaerships durring the pandemic and supply shortages, but I’m not a fan of vertical monopolies. Most, but not all, dealerships gauged at the time but I think we would see price gouging on an even larger scale if we allowed for direct sales.

True. It also matters what you’re doing with it. Are you adding cream and sugar. I like a cold brew and tonic and to get the cold brew to stand up to the tonic I brew between 24 and 36 hours. If I’m sipping on it as is I usually only let it go overnight.

I’ll also do batches where I brew it with only enough hot water to let the coffee bloom, then drop ice water on it and let it sit overnight. That’s been my favorite so far.

Just went to their website and it’s looks very very cheesy. It does not look like a major company or even a serious one tbh. Sad because the One M8 was probably the best phone I’d ever owned.
