An idiot for also thinking Trump was better on the economy despite ample, quantifiable proof to the contrary.
And yes, even before the botched response to Covid.

I once had a $1500 one - Miami (at least then) billed quarterly and when I utterly panicked and hired a plumber they found the cracked main line from the street had been pouring under my parking slab for months.
Didn’t think to, I dunno, call me to ask if I had started a “will fill your Olympic pool for free” business but were happy to knock off 10% when I showed them the thousands of repair bills to fix it.
Dude. 1/2 size larger maybe?
I kid but seriously. I once made the mistake of getting new shoes RIGHT before a convention where I was on my feet for 8-10 hours a day and no time to get different ones. They were too tight and that pressure caused me pain for years.
Nearly?!? I mean sure a furnace or a steam roller or a nuclear blast might do it but….putting on shoes?
Elian lost his mother coming here and was living with relatives in Miami. His Cuban father (rightfully, in my opinion) wanted him back. His family here reasonably argued that his mother’s last act was to bring him to the US and hence he should remain.
The legal battle and ultimate decision he was to be sent back traumatized an innocent kid, but it’s not the same. The US was in the middle of a family fight where both sides were asserting viable arguments and the kid was a pawn. I don’t see that being a US policy mistake.
“I will die alone” would have been quicker to post.
That’s the argument as I understand it - they hope to generate sympathy from the public and I assume legal system…”looks at that frail, harmless old man”. It’s a charade that I experienced while in a jury pool - defendant was in a wheelchair and looked like a weak, sick elderly man…accused of stabbing and nearly killing a much younger, healthy woman. I doubt she just stood there as he slowly rolled up.
Separating suckers and their money, how Presidential.
People still following this conman deserve it.
I’ve used the same cables for years with no problem. You don’t yank them out of ports using the strand, you don’t stress the connectors by winding tightly or making them bend at sharp angles and just treat them with care.
Well sure I’ve never tested it going highway speed but if I don’t fully close the door and try to pull out of a parking spot it moves like an inch then says “nope”. But my post was to at least alert the driver that the thing was not locked down - that seems pretty simple.
My ten year old basic model sedan will jerk to a halt and put the transmission in Park if I try to move with the driver door not fully closed. I’d think a semi would be able to detect and alert that the damn dumper (?) is extended. Wow.
You’re paying for labor. If you’re the cheapest option retention will be poor, knowledge and experience will leave and your business will (and should) suffer.
Penny wise, pound foolish.
Coupon.
Coup.
On.
It’s an implied threat so I don’t have to pay. Makes total sense.
The plastic drain cleaners at home improvement stores with the Velcro tips work really well. They’re like 2’ long but in my experience cleaning the wife and kids long hair out of the bath drain has show that to be plenty.
The added fact that I have basically no hair on my head also makes be a tad bitter about always being the “handyman” guy of our family. :p
My man!

indeed. Inside canned food, there are dead corpses of bacteria only,
Well, not just that right? I mean some tuna or Spam makes it in as well surely.
