I’ve been using Pi 4s with a lineage OS build that has the Jellyfin Android TV client on it and thats been a pretty sweet setup.

There is a maximum human population this planet can support and we have been over it by a couple billion for a while and we’ve been using technology to expand that number and sustain the population. Those methods are burning out our methods to grow crops and are reliant on fossil fuels.

One way or the other the population will decrease. At this point it’s a question of whether we do it through planned decrease or a population crash due to starvation from a combination of soil deterioration and climate change stress.

A launcher is still unnecessary here. The menu of the game is as much a launcher as game assets and mods do not need to be loaded at the menu, and the menu can be designed to serve this function with immersive design instead of hostile design.

Most launchers exist to inject web content so they can advertise to you without needing you to update the launcher.

I just stopped buying games from studios that do this.
