It’s crazy that Elementary is the only OS that seems to care about these things, but that’s what you get when you’re the only distribution to focus on design at all.

As far as I can gather, Valve explicitly advises developers to avoid targeting Linux when building or optimizing for the Steam Deck, instead focusing on optimizing around Proton.

Only works on Ubuntu though last I heard (and not even downstream distros), which is somewhat unfortunate
