How come it ended up giving me the right answer albeit removing some previous right answers then? (removed a few companies for some reason)
Anyway that was a small and easy to check misinformation but if they have over 3 decades of online informational about me noway a person is going to confirm the LLM didn’t bullshit it’s way to an answer to satisfy the human.
Today I asked AI to tell me which phone providers were available short by price and offers and it lied all the time, when I pointed it the AI corrected most of it but also removed some that were accurate for some reason.
It would have been quicker if I did that myself instead of ask AI, oh also didn’t provide all companies.
Maybe those companies have better AI that can make no mistakes but I doubt it, I think the LLMs will lie and no one has time to check if they are correct.
No it doesn’t. It’s in plural. A blog is a single person creating and sharing, others may comment but that’s it. It’s a single person (well it can be many authors but that’s covered in the newspaper example), that’s why I used newspaper sites, they don’t facilitate the creation, sharing and aggregation of content amongst virtual communities and network.
Reddit, facebook, instagram, tiktok, lemmy allows people to create communities, content and sharing. A blog allows ONE person to publish stuff, rarely it builds a community but it can happen, so can happen if you manage to read my diary with a bunch of strangers.
I disagree. By definition social media is “new media technology that facitilates the creation, sharing and aggregation of content amongst virtual communities and networks” so Reddit and Lemmy are social networks.
There are several subkinds of social networks some are worse for kids (and adults) than others. Most sites in the internet don’t allow users to create and share content, online newspaper only may allow users to comment but the content comes from “journalists” and collaborators.
Discord is used like a forum though, with chat capabilities but it’s social at it’s core.
The EU is going to pass a law to enforce this, discord is just getting ahead of the imposition. That’s why France and Spain have been on the news regarding social network regulation for under 16.
So when you have to setup a system for 27 countries plus some members of the eurosphere you just do it for everyone and be done with it.

Anyway this is what replying against your original comment looks like: you are blaming an economy system of political (parties) policies. The more socialist governments turns the more control government have over everything (including economic systems), the more, well, controlling the State becomes. Democracy doesn’t need to be capitalist, and social-democracy is just a political system.
This is coming from socialdemocrat countries like Spain, State interventionism at its finest.

They are both built for stability, Arch is built to be bleeding edge.
None is superior to the other, that depends on the user, but an arch-based distro will require the terminal sooner than later, while you don’t need to touch it in Ubuntu.
I am running EndeavourOS and it’s possible to function without terminal. I use it because I love it but no need at least not for app installing having Discover.
Anyway can’t compare an arch based distro to Fedora or Ubuntu
