This is 100% my question. I am assuming to polling was specifically done in an urban environment where there is some public transportation. It makes sense that you’d still have a lot of folks that would still want a car. If this was a more rural poll or would have to be like 99% car.

They were searching backpacks and lockers in my high school back in the 90’s, student privacy has been dead for a long time. And at the same time they let students keep rifles in their cars on school grounds during hunting season so those students could hunt before school. It’s because the news media industry as a whole has stuck with Twitter as their primary social media site. It’s kinda hilarious how much they seem to like it and how much time they spend there.

It’s not as common but I’d say you still see kids that grow up in a household with satellite for TV so they miss out on most of the streaming references.

I had an aunt with the Disney channel and HBO that recorded almost everything. It was like a home video store at her house, probably hundreds of tapes that she let friends and family borrow. Not trying to discount anyone’s situation, but if you are in the USA and have the option, move out of the bigger cities and into the countryside. Land is cheap, houses can still be cheap and in some areas there aren’t enough people to live in the houses so they are super cheap. Buy a house with the land, work remotely since high speed Internet is everywhere more or less. I live in a super small town that was crushed by NAFTA and only the local hospital keeps the community alive since it brings in a lot of good jobs.

Server side ads sound more expensive for Google to me. I’ll just use some future plugin that blacks out the screen or whatever if it comes to that.

There is no learning, companies just move to different antivirus. The new hotness, the cycle repeats over and over until the new antivirus does this same shit. Look at McAfee in 2010, in fact the CEO of Crowdstrike was the CTO of McAfee then. That easily took down millions of windows XP machines.

Facebook is full of those articles now, I’m sure the times I go on there and click on them to read the comments only encourages things but the comments are just so fascinating to read.

All of the security vendors do it over enough time. McAfee used to be the king of them.

I think any DLC would have been far from mediocre. Given how much post release support they’ve done, I have no doubt DLC would have been stellar. But that’s my point, the passion for the core game is so clear! But I’m excited to see what the mod community can do with good tools.

I’m still having so much fun with this game that the lack of DLC hurts my feelings, lol! I’m just amazed they didn’t give Larian a blank check to do anything DLC wise once the awards kept flooding in.

How were they making money of they had 15,000 tools in like 12 storage units?
