Should be able to handle XFCE.
Should be able to handle XFCE.
“Where people love to drive”. I hate driving but damn try getting around without a car and spend your whole day just getting groceries.
US about to declare war on the Arctic and bring some freedom to…uh…the penguins?
This is the intersection of Xitter and SpaceX and it looks like Xitter takes priority.
You have to remember that the cloud is just a series of data centers owned by cloud providers. If you are Netflix, you’re not hosting Stranger Things for audiences in the US from the EU. You have a copy of it in both places and leverage AWS regions in each area to server geographically closer users (it’s typically called latency based routing). If the undersea cables are cut, the EU still watches Netflix because the content doesn’t need to travel undersea, it’s already in the EU, same thing in the US. The challenge comes in at the end of the month when people pay their Netflix bills and the banks needs to process international payments. End users are largely not impacted by direct service outages but big companies are.
Just LOLed in the grocery store line.
The one thing that LLMs have done for me is to make summarizing and correlating data in documents really easy. Take 20 docs of notes about a project and have it summarize where they are at so I can get up to speed quickly. Works surprisingly well. I haven’t had luck with code requests.
We will all be given old school Casio calculators a d sent to crunch numbers in the bitcoin mines.
I just switched the company I work for off of sticker mule due to the weirdo CEO. Trying out a place called JukeBox which did a good job on the first order. Had good packaging too. If anyone has alternatives we should track them somewhere. Jukebox just happened to be in the first few search results and I was in a hurry. Probably keep using them though unless their CEO turns into a creep as well.
So say we all!
Could be good as a firewall with PFSense or something. 2.5gb to the ISP and a 10gb trunk port. Would be an upgrade for me. All I would use is a drive in it though.
Wait…what’s going on with ankle socks? Like the shorter socks you wear with sneakers and shorts when you go running? There is now something wrong with that?
I cant even picture how he would have meaningful relationships with the children as they have three different mothers so at least three different households on top of him being CEO of multiple companies. I wonder how often he even sees the kids. Maybe this is the Republican dream of spawning more children but never having to raise or care for any of them outside of maybe an annual trip to Disney Land or some shit.
This whole raw milk thing is truly breaking my remaining faith in humanity. Like I saw how we responded to COVID and everything we’ve done across the past hundred plus years in destroying environments, greed, and selfishness but for some reason this raw milk saga is kinda like the straw that broke the camels back. Just intentionally trying to work against the whole species.
How many miles did it have and if you don’t mind me asking, what did it cost to fix? Did you just get the head gasket replaced or did you have to get the heads machined or a reman engine?
I thought that was limited to the Pacificas and everything else before they put it into the Wrangler. My understanding was that it was resolved by the time they finally started putting them in wranglers. I hated the older 3.8L engines and was super happy to get the 3.6. I still have low mileage so can’t comment on longevity but I think they may have resolved that.
Looking at the pics available it looks pretty cool. I would definitely take a look at it to go electric but my current wrangler is going to be hard to give up.
The Wranglers have been mostly reliable but everything else has had issues. The newer pentastar engines seem to be doing pretty well. Not sure on the latest 4 cylinder engines or the Fiat models but the wrangler has been going pretty strong.
Considering this is Kentucky I would have expected a scale model steam engine that burns coal to boil water to spin a turbine to generate the electricity for the museum. This way they could “roll coal” daily and piss off the surrounding tri-state area.
Jim is very much in need of a wellness check.
