I hate to be that guy but I’m too tired to make dinner tonight. I’m just going to order something.

I can’t argue with that because honestly I was jealous of the folks running it. But they are buying new equipment today and I’m not.
Same. I have a lot of legacy recording equipment that I won’t replace until it stops working and it’s all mini USB.
I’m just glad I got what I did instead of FireWire.
Until the CIO gets the “telephone game” version of what’s going on.
I’m less concerned about that and more concerned about supervillains building lairs.
Some of us always look like shit.
Goddammit, you brilliant bastard.
Especially if you don’t make six figures or more.
Six figures ain’t the line anymore and hasn’t been for a while. If your household income is $100,000 in a lot of places you’re still living paycheck to paycheck. They ain’t working for those people because there’s no immediate money to be made helping the middle class.
is making me get the distro itchy foot.
They make a powder for that.
I’m a big believer in the “both sides” theory. Stick with me here.
One side is a trash can fire. They do some fucked up shit.
The other is the Springfield Tire Fire.
Both sides suck, but one side sucks so bad that there’s no way to ever fix it.
I prefer funny over accurate.
I’m an American and I haven’t really had this problem. My career trajectory is weird in that I did systems and networks (with lots of automation because I’m lazy), then SRE, and now development.
I get headhunters calling me weekly. I was able to take a low stress medium pay job for a few years to recharge and moved right back into a faster paced good paying job within weeks of deciding I was ready for it. I don’t know what jobs these folks are applying for but I very rarely see those “10 years experience in 2 year old language” jobs these days. A few years back they were all over the place, though.
I wish it were 100% in tomato hornworms. Seeing that 99% of them die before turning into moths makes me think all of the surviving ones just hang out in my garden.
Theoretically, someone could have baked the sugar from lemonade onto their pipes by riding with a cup of it in a cup holder attached to an engine guard. Then hypothetically that person could have had great success removing it using Bike Brite, then taking 000 steel wool to it after the bulk was gone.
I’m not saying it happened, I’m saying you can’t prove it happened to me.
I loved Inbox. I hate everything that was supposed to replace it. Spark isn’t the worst thing in the world, but it’s not nearly as smart. Shortwave may be ok but my only IOS device isn’t set up to receive email and I haven’t bothered to try it since the Android app is new. Gmail is terrible. Outlook is Outlook.
Inbox worked in a way that my brain immediately understood and adapted to.
That’s why way back in the day they had GIMPshop and why there’s PhotoGIMP now.
You’re right, once. But adding that one time means I never have to see the launcher again. Clicking no means extra launch time and looking at it every time I launch the game.
But different strokes for different folks. If it’s not worth it to you then that’s cool. It was worth it for me and I thought I’d drop that for anyone else who may want it.
I was going to ask where the ad was, but I forgot that I turned off the launcher specifically because of that. I have no idea about PS but you can add the following on PC to skip the lau8
--skip-launcher
God wouldn’t let you get malware on his chosen OS.
My last job is currently controlling kubernetes with Ansible (configuration management and orchestration) in a hybrid cloud model. The new engineering director likes yaml so they put yaml on his yaml.
