Edit
Sorry, this isn’t the place to be dickish about this. I have a visceral reaction to big trucks for my own reasons, but I need to learn to let people enjoy things.

12·5 days agoAll you downvoters and snide commenters have been whooshed. The whole point is that this bullshit has been peddled for years now and the public and CEOs still fall for it.

DeGoogle Yourself@lemmy.ml•Looking for an alternative for Google Keep's simple checklists
3·6 days agoYeah the conflict resolution of the live updates is really tough. It has such spotty usage that I never truly ironed it out. It works fine if it’s not at the same time. This is more a function of the local-first strategy that keeps the UX better. I really have wanted to improve it but didn’t really see a reason to with such low usage.

9·11 days agoTraining a model is a hugely expensive endeavor; that’s why only the huge money-burning companies do it. You can’t tweak a model in the wild. You pay the (grossly subsidized) fee and that’s what you get.

Do they think that the LLM will “learn” based on feedback? If so, that’s fucking hilarious. “I had to turn the car to keep it from going off the road! Next time it will learn not to go off the road because of my teaching.”
Good ol’ boy network?
They’re correct
Time is a flat circle

Yeah the “manly dude” starter pack’s cornerstone is a f-150 or silverado. It’s just a baseline requirement.
Also though, mom has to have a canyonero to get groceries and shuttle the kids because “mama bear needs to keep her kids safe from all those giant cars out there”.
