There were times in my life that I would not go to the hospital unless I was literally dying for fear of the costs. A ton of people in the US are like that, and imagine how many ignore weird pains or symptoms that then progress into serious conditions that could’ve been treated if they’d have gotten checked out earlier.

And there’s me planning a 2000mi road trip in my '22 Bolt next month lmao. It’ll add several hours to my trip as each stop is 30min-1hr

(The old model Bolts charge pretty slow compared to most modern EVs - 50kw max.)

If I had a Hyundai or something similarly fast charging it would cut my trip by ~5 hours each way. But I almost never take trips over 300mi by car. A few times a decade, maybe.

I just have it copied to an external HDD and also daily sync to cloud B2 storage (encrypted) while the main copy of the media lives on the SSD.

I never have to touch it unless there’s a failure… I should have a versioned backup on the HDD in that case. Unless there’s a fire or something and both are destroyed in which case I should be able to pull them from the cloud storage.

It’s all just automated cron jobs requires no effort on my part beyond setting it up.

Modded 3DS is great. Super easy to do and you can use the hShop to download pretty much every game ever released plus their updates and DLC.

I will say at least with those you can still sell them, trade them, whatever. Unlike digital games.

I agree, but I think it could be a biiit wider. Especially if we add some analog controls. Personally I think somewhere around DS lite size.

I’m not sure where this myth comes from but it’s not true.

I guess a tiny truth… Posting a $0 balance on all accounts can hit it a bit. But it goes away instantly and also you can and should post a balance, then pay it off. You won’t pay any interest that way. If you’re posting $0 on your cards you’re either not using them (why have them?) or unnecessarily paying them off before statement date.
