So edgy
So edgy
This definitely isn’t real. The cables don’t look right around the truck. If a truck had somehow landed on the cables like this it would have pulled the telegraph pole down
Reminds me of this
Apologies for the reddit link
The image quality isn’t amazing but if you zoom in you can see there are trees planted, they’re just small so don’t show up well.
I’ve actually had the opposite of this happen to me, I gave a figure and they offered me more. But I’ve also had this happen too when they’ve gone below what I asked.
RVs are motorhomes that have an engine, gearbox etc. Caravan is something you tow behind another vehicle.
Yep! That’s my direction of travel so that’s where I want to be looking. I’m still going to look side to side to make sure the traffic has stopped. What ends up happening, especially when it’s busy, is that the person who pressed the button stays standing next to it so you can’t see when it’s clear.
I hate puffin crossings.
I’ve lived outside cities all my life and never seen drive through bank.
It probably originated there but I think it’s just spread everywhere now. See loads of teens dressed all in black listening to drill music, some even with their faces covered as if they’re off to rob a bank.
A lot of car parks are becoming like this. It’s especially frustrating when you try to download the app but you have no signal and there’s no other way to pay.
They can make it as clean as they like, but the moment passengers are on board the cabin is hardly a hyginic place to be preparing food.
And it’s a behaviour that stems from the admins who’ll ban users from the entire instance if they disagree with their opinions.
It’s the only instance I have blocked at my account level so I don’t see their communties.
They won’t care or won’t even notice these things. They’ll open their laptop, book a holday or find some new car insurance or write a report of whatever and not even think about what the OS does. Unless they’re someone who is already extremely sensitive over privacy of their data, you’re not going to convice the average Windows user to switch to Linux.
When I was younger I used to use Ubuntu as my main OS for years, tried Arch for a bit - then went back to Windows. I haven’t got the time or energy to be fucking about with things like that anymore.
Windows is for people who’s life or personality doesn’t reolve around their computer. It’s just a tool to get things done and that’s it.
If the option were another country then the Netherlands would be my choice too, probably somewhere outside Amsterdam but close enough to commute in.
Both are beautiful places! We stayed in North Wales in April for my wife’s birthday as we climbed Snowdon and it was really beautiful. One of my favourite DJs performed a set on the railway they have and you get an amazing view of the area.
I’d probably live outside the lakes though purely because of how busy it gets in summer.
I just realised I meant somewhere else in the UK but I didn’t specify that in the title!
It’s not like you have to upgrade your phone every year. People are on different upgrade cycles in which these devices will be a big upgrade.
