You have to self host your own. Don’t trust anyone with your data. It’s hard to do, specially for email, but sadly it’s the only way.

Wozniak was one of the good ones. I don’t know if he still is.

“happy little leaves”

Man, I use Bob Ross as a therapist, his voice is so calming. And the process of seeing a blank canvas coming to life is something Ai can never achieve.

“He used his turn signals while there was no other car in sight”

Free plan: usually no.
Any paid plan: yes.

I would suggest Linux, but that also opened its door to slopification.

I didn’t use that feature mainly to avoid this problem.
I used an email for each service (xyz-amazon@mydomain, xyz-ebay@mydomain,… Etc) and set up catch-all email for them. I was using the xyz+Amazon trick before, but some services don’t allow it, so I switched do dashes.

Heads up! Use a custom domain, don’t full for the gmail trap again (it took me 3 years to get all my emails sorted out and I sacrificed some services where it was hard to change the email)
Get you own custom domain, and when Google, Porton, Tuta, … inevitably goes evil, export and import your emails while keeping your sumu415@myawesomedomain.xyz email address.

Alas, when a company gets big it gets evil.
I’m prepared this time around, I use Protonmail with a custom domain, I’m ready to easily switch.
For the other stuff (Drive, Docs, Sheets, …) , I’m selfhosting.

OP’s graph uses slashes.
Dashes would remove all the confusion.

D/M/Y > M/D/Y

Custom domain first, then chose your email provider.
I’m on protonmail now, but was on Zoho mail before.
My custom domain allows me to switch more easily, it took me literally 3 years to switch from @gmail.com, never again.
Go Home (selfhost) never Go Big.
