I still replay those and enjoy them. Final Fantasy Tactics, War of the Lions as well. Personally I think they hold up, with maybe Secret of Mana being the worst of the three. I’m extremely positively biased toward Secret of Mana though as it was the first game me, my brother, and my sister could play at the same time on SNES, and was the first game we got with the system for that exact reason (we first experienced it visiting another house, before we even had a SNES, and they had a splitter. They showed us Secret of Mana and some multi-player basketball game I can’t quite recall).

It’s such a positive memory of us all being able to enjoy the same activity together without fighting over controllers etc(though maybe some fight over characters :P)

For some reason on my client, it can’t remove the spoiler (gives a network error). I’m assuming it says that since the ball has more mass, it has a higher attraction rate of its own gravity to Earth’s, so does fall faster in a vacuum but so miniscule it would be hard to measure?

In IT, and have been since 99. I cared more about porn(adware, viruses, etc used to be more frequent on them) than other groups I expected to caresometimes. A regional managers laptop was acting slow, so sent back to us. During cleanup I found porn among other issues, and reported it to their manager. The response was basically:

“How much longer before you can return the laptop to them?” They just wanted em up and running again. Now at an MSP, and we’ve found porn on fileservers, often time by the owners of the company.

You only have 2 by default and pay an additional $2 a month for any extra. They allow you to basically bot farm some items every 30m to an hour(depends on how below your retainers level the target is) as well as more storage and selling capacity. Nothing is explicitly gated by it, but those who spend the money have a higher capability to earn in game money and/or have greater convenience if they use it properly.

For those of us who have had extra retainers for years, it’s cost us way more than $90, but it’s not a single huge purchase so can definitely seem like less in your head if you don’t take that one small step of reasoning.

I grew up JW, and their meetings were very structured and organized. They do sometimes show videos and such, but a congregation is organized around not one pastor or anything but a whole group of them, any of who could do the main Sunday surmon (and I have seen subs often enough). They also have “ministerial servants” who are I guess basically elders(pastors I guess?) in training, and they often handled a lot of stuff too.

As someone mentioned, gyms. I biked to work at one of my previous places, and if I wanted to shower, I’d head to the on campus gym. That gym had stalls, so theoretically ou could talk in the shower, though I never did.

I don’t like chocolate that much, but if I do have it, dark all the way. The less sweet the better. I’m sure I have some limit, like 90% probably too much, but I definitely like less sweet.

Alex Jones has been freaking out about FEMA since at least the Obama years, including Walmart. They’ve been reusing old stuff for a long time now. His bird flu, ebola, and covid coverages have been similar over the decades to, always antivax and exaggerated. With Civid, he finally had a leader who did the wrong things to address it so he got to milk it far more.

It’s so ingrained in our life processes. You know Calories? The capital C version(or Kcal in some countries) is 1000 calories. What do they measure? The potential heat whatever is being measured can generate. Our fuel intake is measured by how well it burns.
