I don’t know if I can; it’s not, well, in my lane as a bicycle/pedestrian committee member. I still show up and advocate for lane narrowing and traffic calming at the city council meetings.

Edit: disregard. I thought you meant lanes, you clearly mean sweepers
I’m trying to secure wholly separate bike lanes, or at least flexi-posts, anything but a sharrow or a line of paint. Tbh, I dunno how that’ll work with a street sweeper.
Day 30 of being fucking bewildered that I, a non-voting member of my city’s bicycle commission, have stricter ethical laws binding me than those for judges and politicians.
STOP PULLING MYSTERIOUSLY WELL PRESERVED WEAPONS OUT OF TOMBS
HAVEN’T THESE PEOPLE EVER READ A BOOK FOR FUCKS SAKES
STOP FUCKING AROUND. STILL WANT TO FIND OUT, FOR A LAUGH? THERE’S ALREADY A WAY TO DO THAT, IT’S CALLED WAKING UP IN THE 20s.
THOUSANDS OF CURSED SWORDS REMOVED FROM GRAVES TO DATE AND NOT ONE USE FOUND FOR THE HORRORS THEY UNLEASHED
“Yes, hello, there’s surely a reasonable, non-magic explanation for how this sword is as spotless as the day everyone buried it under a giant boulder with its wielder in an unmarked hole. It’s completely fine for swords to whisper about things forgotten and not yet known.” -STATEMENTS DREAMED UP BY THE UTTERLY DERANGED
Beautiful stroadside shopping
Externalities with no direct impact on the company? No way! Milton Friedman assured me that capitalism was perfectly balanced with 0 exploits!
I’ve read some Buddhist literature, including a lot of tales about the Buddha, and the monks were arguing all the time. There’s a handful of stories where the Buddha goes at them because of how much they’re always arguing.
I have some news for you. The Spanish state, its church, and its representatives did a LOT of enslaving of the Native Americans. The missions that pepper California and Mexico were almost entirely dependent on the labor of enslaved natives, and they were horrifically brutal about it, too. In a book I have on the subject, there’s an example of one priest who complained about how the natives were treated, and he was summarily relocated. So, Christianity had an enormous role in enslaving and murdering native Americans, and it had nothing to do with Merchants.
OTOH: Boeing. Had the 737 Max bug been a one-off incredibly bad fuck up, they would have been a good buy. Then it turned out that that bug was just the first sign of many deep seated issues with their production process. Boeing 100% deserves everything they’re getting. Management skipped right over lawful, chaotic, and neutral evil and went into stupid evil, and decided that sacrificing QC/QA on aerospace equipment would be a great way to get returns for shareholders.
GET ROTATED
Here in Central California, we’re lousy with Morning Glories and Hemlock. Once you learn to recognize hemlock, you see it everywhere.

It’s paint
I got the name (Crowd Strike actually) and some basic facts wrong, and the intro probably didn’t come off the way I meant it to.

State actors wish they could fuck shit up like Microsoft.
Edit: I got the name (Crowd Strike) and some basic facts wrong. There are other, better answers here.
I’m old enough to remember when trucks weren’t luxury vehicles or fashion statements, and didn’t cost more than actual luxury sedans. The automakers are making too good of margins off these stupid trucks to stop on their own, either they need to fall out of favor with consumers or it needs to be regulated.
I don’t want Biden to start drone striking Congress, but it would be nice if the democrats acted like this election is as important as they keep saying it is, because it is that important.
I fuck with this energy, let’s get it done!
