The French are doing the right thing. Getting independent from the US software dominance takes time and the US regime could decide any day to use it stupidly and brutally. I just wish my government had as much foresight.

Trying to blame the whole grift on just one person is just another part of the grift. Altman deserves all that’s coming to him, but there are many more to investigate.

That’s exactly the problem. He didn’t launch nukes at the sun, though, right?

Interesting: using a VPN in Europe I can’t see the post when following a direct link to it. Probably just some stupid setup on truth social.

It seems to be real, even though it’s not available anymore. There are still levels to the insanity though and with Trump it’s impossible to discern reality from fiction without sources.

I can’t accept any screenshot of a Trump post as real unless there’s a link to the original.
It unironically feels this way. I enjoy booting up my machine again like in the good old days.

I’m a bit jaded since I donated regularly to the development of voyager - as one should - and instead of improving it got worse.

When starting out with the fediverse I liked voyager better, but over time I felt like it actually reduced in quality and stability. I’ve fully switched to thunder by now and must say it’s considerably better.

And now we’re entering the era of hyper-enshittification, where ads and monetization are seamlessly interwoven into every interaction with no possibility of escape.

And of course Reuters is just distributing the press release with no context whatsoever.

Seems like a complete dead internet circlejerk to rip off advertisers. No humans involved except for siphoning off money.

The markets have completed their transition into a casino, no predictions are possible anymore.

Yeah, good luck with that.
The haven’t even tried handing the bag directly to retail investors. That’s when the endgame starts.

“Prompt engineering” is the astrology of the LLM world.

I somehow hope this is made up, because doing this without checking and finding the obvious errors is insane.
I read a long article in a German newspaper about how openclaw will finally change everything. The journalist was convinced once he started using it himself. Of course the cost was handled by the publication. The things he used it for that totally blew his mind: he got a text about the day’s weather and whether he should plan a bit more time for getting his kids ready when it was going to rain. Also, he got a digest of the nights news. Another article, unrelated, got into how someone accidentally paid 200,- $ to set a reminder when the sun would come up. The morons proclaiming the AI revolution are truly the dumbest of the pack.
The longer you look, the worse it gets!
